Introducing Realm: St. Alban’s Membership and Donation Management System

We’ve heard that you want to be better connected with others in our parish community…

Realm is our membership management system, and it can be used to help you to connect directly with one another. With this hope in mind, over the next few weeks you will be able to update your contact information so that you can better connect to one another.  Realm allows you to manage your contact information, give online, and keep in touch with the groups that matter to you.  Later today, you will receive an emailed invite to create your Realm account. Use the link in the email to create your own  Realm password. Then, follow the steps to verify your account. Important note:  to verify your account, you will be asked to provide your phone number or birth date.  Please use your phone number, as the birth dates in Realm may be inaccurate or incomplete.  Once you’re in Realm, take a look around! You’ll see a Giving option in the left menu, which allows you to view your giving history and even schedule donations.

Updating Realm with your current information is an important step in St. Alban’s being able to publish a new online directory and to welcome The Reverend Lynn Carter-Edmands as she joins us as our Transition Priest-in-Charge.  Participation in the online directory is encouraged but not mandatory!  You can select this option in your online account.

What you need to know…

Realm has historically only been used by the parish office.

But now, you—as a member of St. Alban’s—may also become an active user. Anytime, from anywhere, you’ll be able to go online to:

  • access and update your contact and other information
  • find and stay in touch with other St. Alban’s people
  • stay up to date on St. Alban’s many ministries, committees and groups
  • communicate with other members of groups to which you belong
  • Give online when / if you choose. Giving is private and confidential information, known only to you and those few who are granted administrative responsibility for maintaining Realm Giving records. It is not visible to others.
  • review your giving history and pledge status
  • produce periodic and annual giving statements.

Why Realm?

Realm is only made up of the people in our church. It’s not a social network that’s open to everyone. Realm keeps your data safe and gives you control over what information you share and who can see it. Realm helps us serve you better between Sundays. Everyone can be connected from anywhere at any time, even from our mobile devices. We’ll stay organized, and you’ll stay informed about all the opportunities at St. Alban’s.

About Realm privacy

  • Each St. Alban’s member—by creating a personal login and password—will have access to her or his own personal information.
  • You will control what information you share with others.
  • Only those known to St. Alban’s will receive an invitation asking them to create a login at St. Alban’s Realm website.
  • Each person who applies will be checked against St. Alban’s records.
  • The information held in Realm won’t be accessible by the public and will be limited to staff and a small group of volunteers. Access to giving and pledge records will be very limited.

Next steps…

An email was sent with your invitation to Realm, and thank you for taking a few moments to create an account for Realm.

If you have questions, please contact Linda Howard at

Here’s the link to our account.  For anyone who has forgotten their password, please use this link and then click on Forgot your password.

We’re excited by the prospect of having you join us in becoming regular users of St. Alban’s Realm site.  We look forward to what Realm enables us to do in 2020 and beyond.

Please note that if you do not use email, or have access to internet, St. Alban’s staff will continue to support you by providing you information shared with others through Realm.

With our best wishes,

Christopher Pezzullo, Senior Warden
