Community Outreach
Soup Kitchen at the Preble Street Resource Center
The Preble Street Resource Center in Portland provides services to
people experiencing hunger, homelessness, or poverty. St. Alban’s
prepares and serves lunch the second Saturday of each month. Call
Scott Scharf
at 874-0580 for info or sign-up.
Saint Elizabeth Essentials Pantry distributes non-food
essentials (diapers, personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies,
etc.) to local people in need. St. Alban’s is committed to
staffing the pantry every other month on Tuesday from 9-11:30 AM.

Grace Church is a mission church of St. Alban’s
on Munjoy Hill in Portland. Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday
at 5:30 and the Church
is always in need of readers, greeters, and coffee hour hosts. To

Habitat for Humanity helps build a homes for low-income
families. To help, call Fr. Jim

Diocesan Affairs Committee
St. Alban’s has an ongoing committee of people who educate our
congregation in issues of the wider Church and participate in diocesan
events such as the annual Diocesan Convention. For more info on this

St. Alban’s belongs to the Episcopal Diocese of Maine shepherded
