Adult Formation

Faith Seeking Understanding…Christians made

Adult Christian Formation at St. Alban’s

An ancient writer reminds us that Christians are made, formed through practice, prayer, reflection, action and study in community.  Each season of the year we offer opportunities for growth, study, contemplation and formation.  Wherever you are in your faith journey, you are welcome to participate in these offerings.

You are invited to select from a menu of offerings that represent a commitment to explore, discover and embrace God’s love fully  with real care and some genuine discipline.

We may become Christians at Baptism, but the true “Christening” of our lives is a lifelong undertaking that lies at the center of who we are at St. Alban’s.  It forms us, step by step, more deeply and more broadly in mind and spirit. Through Adult Christian Formation at St. Alban’s we become something more – more spirited, more thoughtful, more alert to the traditions of our past and to the possibilities of a faith-filled future.  We step closer to being the people God calls us to be, living in the image of Christ and in service to God’s hopes for us all.
